Campaign Watch: Samsung Galaxy Note 800 and Note II

Samsung has had a super run with web creative executions for the Galaxy Note 800 Tablet and Galaxy Note II. The creatives stick to the brand aesthetic, are minimal and therefore striking in a sea of clutter that passes off as web design.

Here is a quick round up of all the executions I have seen (and liked).

The Galaxy Note 800 launch was covered via a webcast in August. Simple one-pager with central video player, social plugs and key product features. The recorded video was hosted for a few days after the event.

Exactly a month later (in September) a similar webcast pager covered the Galaxy Note II launch.

It was promoted through a neat launch execution on Yahoo! India Email Login Page.

This is how an Email Login Page takeover should be rendered. You can’t miss it but the creative is not trying too hard to get your attention.

Today Samsung executed a fantastic interactive takeover on Yahoo! India’s home page for Galaxy Note 800.  Users can draw on the S Note within the banner, which gets recorded. They can then go ahead and play the recording of what they created within the banner. How cool is that!
